Sync & Cloud

Sync availability depends on the current Public Alpha build and account configuration. It is not tied to active Pro/Team billing yet.

Collections can sync automatically when that surface is enabled in your build:

How It Works

1. Sign in on multiple devices 2. Enable auto-sync in Settings if your build exposes it 3. Changes sync automatically when available

Manual Sync

Settings → Sync → Sync Now

What Syncs

| Synced | Not Synced | |--------|------------| | Saved articles | PDF cache is not synced because it is too large | | Collections & folders | | | Tags | | | View history | | | Settings (optional) | |

Deleting

Remove Article from Collection

1. Right-click on article 2. Select "Remove from Collection" 3. Article remains in "All Articles"

Delete Collection

1. Select collection 2. Click "Delete" or right-click → Delete 3. Confirm deletion

⚠️ Note: Deleting a collection does NOT delete the articles. They remain in "All Articles" and any other collections they belong to.

Tips for Organization

1. Create thematic collections — one per project or research topic 2. Use nested collections — for large projects with subtopics 3. Tag for cross-cutting themes — methods, keywords, to-read status 4. Archive old collections — don't delete, move to an "Archive" folder 5. Export before deadlines — have backup copies of your references 6. Use colors — visual cues for quick identification 7. Regular cleanup — review and organize periodically
