Paper-to-Code

Review experimental, model-assisted implementation plans and their limits.

Status: Experimental. Paper-to-Code is a model-assisted desktop workflow that turns selected paper context into an implementation assessment or plan and can hand off supported artifacts.

What the workflow provides

  • An implementation plan grounded in the article text available to the desktop app.
  • Assessments that label maturity and discuss feasibility, reproducibility, operational burden, or reusable modules where the current workflow supports them.
  • Supported handoff paths to exported scaffolds or Writer artifacts.

Review before use

Generated plans and scaffolds are proposals. They do not show that code compiles, reproduces a paper's results, meets production requirements, or is safe to deploy. Check every assessment against the source paper and inspect exported files before using them.

Results depend on the current desktop build, article text and metadata, and configured AI backend. Missing or partial source text can limit the assessment. This documentation does not establish that generated artifacts are available in every release.
