NeuralScio includes a built-in web browser for viewing articles in their original HTML format.
Overview
The web viewer displays articles directly from publisher websites, preserving:
- Original formatting and layout
- Interactive figures and tables
- Supplementary materials links
- Publisher's reading experience
When to Use Web View

Theme Integration
The web viewer adapts to your chosen theme:

Note: Dark mode depends on website support. Some sites may not fully adapt.
Caching
Automatic Caching
Web pages are cached for offline access:
- Cached when viewed
- Available without internet
- Respects cache settings

- Dynamic content
- Paywalled articles
- Large multimedia
Privacy Features
The web viewer includes privacy protections:

Troubleshooting
Page Won't Load
1. Check internet connection 2. Try refreshing (Ctrl+R) 3. Clear web cache in Settings 4. Check if site is accessible in normal browser
Display Issues
1. Try toggling dark mode 2. Check zoom level 3. Try Software Rendering mode 4. Update GPU drivers
Content Missing
1. Some sites require JavaScript 2. Try the original site in your browser 3. Content may be paywalled 4. Dynamic content may not cache
Tips
1. Use for HTML articles — Better experience than forcing PDF 2. Cache important pages — Access offline later 3. Enable privacy mode — Reduces tracking 4. Check PDF availability — PDFs are often better for serious reading
